The University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Health Care are sponsoring a research effort in the Worcester area. We want to learn why people become sick and how to get them better. All UMass Memorial Health Care patients and community members are invited to participate.

Everyday people get sick and many suffer from diseases that do not yet have a cure. All of us know people with diseases. Diseases run in families, come from injuries, infection, an unhealthy lifestyle, or from the places we live or work. UMass Medical School and UMass Memorial need your help to find ways to stop people from getting sick.

At the Conquering Diseases Project, you can participate in four ways:

1. Donate blood samples to our Biorepository.

2. Enroll in our Clinical Research Volunteer Registry.
The Clinical Research Volunteer Registry helps connect people who are interested in participating in research with the researchers here at UMass who are conducting the studies. More ...

3. Visit our Community Resource Center.
Our Community Resource Center offers information on on-going studies; computer access for learning about diseases and treatment options; and help from our staff locating studies of interest for patients and community members. More ...

4. Participate in a Clinical Research Center study.
